Works with architecture, engineering, security, operational, and application experts to set standards and engineering guidance for all aspects of the IP network. S/he will provide architecture/design support and request fulfillment associated with Waters Corporation network infrastructure\nResponsibilities\nProvide subject matter expertise and guidance to IT teams and Service Providers to modify and maintain existing Waters Corporation network architecture, completion of project requests, capacity analysis, health and performance management, continuous service improvement, new technology recommendations, business/technical analyses, reporting, and project management. \nWork efficiently with our technology providers as well as other third-party engineering, application, and operations teams. \nKey areas of focus will be network architecture/design, development of technology roadmaps, and the optimization of Waters Corporation data center, campus, manufacturing, distribution center, and remote office networks.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nUndergraduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent experience/certification \n10+ years of experience in each of the following areas: \nEnterprise level Network design, troubleshooting, and support\nEnterprise level DNS, and/or DHCP solutions\nAdvanced Cisco networking technologies\nNetwork virtualization products/technologies\nRouting, switching, and IP subnetting\nTCP/IP and common network protocols \nDocumenting architectural standards, policies, and engineering designs\n8+ years of experience in each of the following areas:\nEnterprise network security technologies including firewalls, IDS, IPS, NAC, WAF, and Web Proxies\nSecurity standards including PCI, SOX, and NIST\nMSP governance and oversight\nNetwork monitoring, management, and reporting\nDelivering technology solutions at an enterprise level\nPreferred:\nCCIE, CCNP, PCNSE and/or other technical certifications\nExperience working with network security products\nWorking knowledge of\nInfoblox DDI\nIdentity and access control protocols/systems\nSoftware Defined Networking products including Cisco Meraki\nAutomation and modeling tools\nRemote office/branch office and WAN design\nData center and campus network design\nWireless network design and validation\nExperience supporting Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures\nExperience performing detailed risk assessments and audit responses\nExperience with Palo Alto Prisma Access and/or SDWAN products\nExperience with networking in multi-cloud environments\nBioscience, medical, and/or manufacturing background\nExcellent problem-solving skills working independently and through leading outcomes for cross functional teams \nUnderstanding of change management, testing requirements, techniques, and tools to ensure high availability of platforms \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences including executives, business stakeholders, and IT teams\nAbility to work during non-business hours, as needed \nAbility to travel on a limited basis, as required to support assigned projects/initiatives\nProficiency in Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\nCompany Description\nWaters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, dedicated to accelerating the benefits of pioneering science through analytical technologies, informatics, and service.
