We measure our success in the carbon reduction achievements of our customers. We are looking for team members to join our team focused on delivering outcomes for our Financial Institution customers.\nYou’ll work on the team turning Watershed’s data layer into an intelligence platform: BI-grade querying, AI-powered discovery and analysis, and the schema architecture underneath it all. The goal is for customers to get answers inside Watershed-not export to Excel.\nWhat you could work on:\nBuild new interactive data visualizations to help climate leads understand their company's emissions.\n\nBuild APIs to unify carbon data access for customers and other engineers.\n\nBuild tools that help financial institutions measure and report emissions across their portfolio companies.\n\nBuild tools for customers to effectively ingest and interpret business data.\n\nYou will:\nShip code to production on day one\n\nCollaborate with product, design, climate science, and data science to build and iterate on software that helps our customers understand their climate data\n\nYou might be a fit if you:\nHave 6+ years of software engineering industry experience, preferably in Node.js web development or data pipelines\n\nHave experience building scalable software starting from user needs\n\nAre excited to join a startup and are ready to help evolve a growing engineering team\n\nThis role will be based in our New York City office.\nMust be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles)\nWatershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City and satellite offices in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin. Where we have offices, employees are expected to be in office for 4 days per week.
