We hope that you'll be interested in joining us!\nThe role\nWe are looking for a software engineer who thrives in the early stages of product development to help Watershed expand its impact into new markets.\nYou will be involved in everything required to ship great products, including hands-on engineering, talking with customers, mastering the climate domain, and setting direction for the team. Joining as an early member of the team you will have the opportunity to shape everything that comes next at Watershed.\nYou will:\nWork closely in a cross-functional team to learn from pilot customers and develop a product vision to find overall market fit.\n\nWork in a distributed team across NY and LDN.\n\nWork with platform teams to deliver the outcomes we need at pace by leveraging existing capabilities.\n\nFeed back the relevant learnings to shape the platform investments for the long term.\n\nYou’ll likely be a good fit if you:\nHave 3+ years building software products.\n\nHave worked in very early stage companies or on new product line development within a larger organisation.\n\nAre eager to work in fast, learn → build → test iterations of hours and days.\n\nMove fast without breaking things. Leverage great technical judgement on when to work with the platform and when to work independently of it.\n\nAre able to go deep on the domain problem - learn from our in house experts so that you can make great product decisions quickly.\n\nMust be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles)\nWatershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City and satellite offices in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin. Where we have offices, employees are expected to be in office for 4 days per week.
