Monitor treatment machine operations and provide prompt resolution to minimize machine downtime.\nAssist Chief Physicist in performing monthly spot-checks and annual quality assurance checks on linear accelerators.\nWork Environment & Physical Demands\nExtensive mental demands. Highly technical work with a lot of numerical calculations. This person need to be able to stand or sit in a stationary position 50% of the time and move about the inside of the radiation therapy department to communicate with physicians, dosimetrist, and radiation therapists.\nTravel\nNo travel is expected for this position.\nRequirements\nRequired Education and Experience\nMaster of Science in Engineering, physics or mathematics.
