Our Company

In 2000 our founders met with Peter Keen, Performance Director at British Cycling, with the vision of creating the ultimate indoor bike. Wattbike Pro/Trainer was launched in 2008 at the Track Cycling World Championships and endorsed by British Cycling. Today Wattbike is the first choice for elite sports teams, athletes and institutions, including Team GB Olympians, Premiership Football and Rugby clubs and their national teams, the New Zealand All Blacks, the NFL, the British Army, and Harvard University. But Wattbikes are not just for pros, Wattbike is the perfect indoor trainer for those serious about getting fitter. In September 2017, the world's smartest indoor bike, the Wattbike Atom, was launched into the home. With cutting edge accuracy and unrivalled realism, the Wattbike Atom replicates the resistance and sensation of riding outdoors, indoors.

Our mission is to make Wattbike the ultimate training partner for improving health and fitness. Wattbikers are intrinsically motivated individuals who have goals, whether to compete or to improve personal fitness and health.

Our 5-year goal is to build on our heritage in elite sport to become the global leader in premium indoor cycling. We will achieve this by expanding our connected product portfolio, accelerating innovation across hardware and digital platforms, and delivering world-class user experiences that keep riders engaged and motivated.

Product development sits at the heart of this vision. Wattbike's combination of hardware innovation, software excellence and best-in-class performance measurement has established a loyal user base and strong brand reputation.

We are significantly increasing our investment in digital: growing the Wattbike Hub app to support bike sales and drive subscription revenue, and evolving the on-bike screen experience to give riders a seamless, connected and personal journey from the moment they step on a Wattbike.
