We are looking for someone who wants to expand their financial career by proactively driving the closing process, taking ownership of decision-making, continuously improving closing efficiency by actively leveraging AI, and actively supporting the business units' various new business initiatives.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform monthly/quarterly/annual financial accounting close and provide financial support to business units\nConduct monthly P&L analysis and establish accounting policies\nReview financial accounting issues and support/respond to external audits\nPlan and drive improvements to closing-related processes and systems, including the active use of AI to increase efficiency\nActively communicate with the finance teams of WEBTOON group affiliates in Korea, Japan and Canada to enhance the completeness and reliability of financial closing\nRequired Experience\n7~12 years of experience in US-GAAP or IFRS accounting and standalone/separate financial closing\nExperience supporting and responding to external audits at a publicly listed company\nStrong sense of responsibility and professional ethics, with a proactive approach to work\nSkilled in internal/external communication and flexible in collaboration\nFluent in both Korean and English\nProactive in leveraging AI to improve processes and drive efficiency\nPreferred Experience\nAccounting certification(s) (CPA)\nExperience in the IT/platform industry\nExperience preparing for the adoption of new accounting standards and establishing accounting policies\nExperience improving closing-related processes/systems\nExperience applying AI or automation tools to accounting/finance processes\nSalary Range and Description\n$110,000 -
