Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation - and we have a dynamic future ahead.\nScope of Position\nThis self-starting and motivated individual, as part of the Foundry Maintenance team, will be responsible for maintaining, testing and repairing electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. They will be responsible for triaging work as needed and applying their own knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restoring equipment to operation.\nThe Foundry Maintenance Mechanic provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing. \nThis position reports to the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor, and is on site based in Franklin, NH.\nThis position is available on 2nd or 3rd Shift and can include work on weekends.\nPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities\nTroubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment.\nPlans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.\nInstalls, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.\nAdvises operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.\nInforms appropriate management and maintenance mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.\nMaintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.\nPerforms preventive maintenance functions as directed.\nAssists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting and may train other members of the maintenance team.\nAssume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor or Company management.\nTravel Requirements: up to 10% for training as needed\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.\nStrong mechanical aptitude.\nComputer experience/operation and PLC programming are necessary. \nExperience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nA thorough knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.\nMust be able to work respectfully and professionally with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment and especially must be able to clearly interface and communicate with line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.\nWilling to work overtime as required.\nHigh degree of precision working with minimum tolerances required. \nUnderstanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.\nMust successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including [insert checks], and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with cutting, welding and fabrication preferred.\nAbility to cover other shifts preferred. \nGeneral Applicable Company Competencies \nCommitment to Watts’ values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.\nPunctuality and dependability.\nAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.\nAdherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.\nMaintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.\nAdherence to Watts’ seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.\nWorking Conditions:\nWhile performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Franklin location in NH.
