Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation - and we have a dynamic future ahead.\nScope of Position\nThis lean-thinking individual, as part of the Operations Team, will be responsible for oversight of 2nd shift operations, ensuring production goals align with customer requirements and company objectives. This position will lead the team in fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, while driving operational efficiency and associate engagement.\nThis position is responsible for supervision of an average of 30 hourly employees.\nThis position reports to the Operations Manager, is onsite, and is based in Franklin, NH.\nPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and delivery standards, as well as budget and cost control measures.\n\nManage 3rd shift production and material handling to meet delivery schedules while maintaining productivity and quality standards.\n\nLead daily Gemba walks and KPI board reviews to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.\n\nReview production and operating reports, addressing and resolving operational and maintenance challenges.\n\nImprove resource use by organizing and directing workflow to meet production plans.\n\nApply Lean Manufacturing principles and root cause problem-solving to analyze and improve processes using voice-of-customer (VOC) feedback.\n\nCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, and peers to resolve major process and quality issues.\n\nContribute to facility planning, plant layout, and other assigned projects.\n\nProvide feedback on important projects such as AOP development, capital planning, and manufacturing process improvements.\n\nDrive a culture of safety by enforcing compliance with safety rules, ensuring PPE usage, and reporting any job-related injuries or illnesses immediately.\n\nAssume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Company management.\n\nTravel Requirements: less than 25%\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree preferred. You will be required to work at the Company’s Franklin location in Franklin, NH.
