Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation - and we have a dynamic future ahead.\nScope of Position\nThis detail-oriented and dependable individual, as part of the Warehouse & Logistics team, will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials, equipment, and inventory items to support manufacturing operations. The role ensures inventory is properly maintained, stocked, and organized while supporting shipping activities and timely material availability for production and customer requirements.\nThis position does not have direct supervisory responsibility.\nThis position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. This role is onsite and based in Hutchinson, KS.\nPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities\nReceive, inspect, and stock incoming freight, materials, and supplies.\nStore, organize, and issue materials, equipment, and inventory items from stockroom locations.\nPackage and ship service parts, boilers, and other products in accordance with company procedures.\nOperate forklifts, overhead hoists, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.\nMaintain inventory organization and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.\nPerform data entry and update inventory records within company systems.\nComplete shipping, receiving, and inventory-related paperwork accurately and timely.\nEnsure assigned departmental tasks are completed within established quality and productivity standards.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment requirements.\nDemonstrate Watts values of Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, and Transparency.\nAssume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Company management.\nTravel Requirements: N/A.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.\nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.\nBasic computer skills and ability to perform data entry.\nStrong mathematical skills with the ability to count, sort, and verify inventory accurately.\nAbility to read and accurately use a tape measure.\nAbility to organize and prioritize work to meet operational requirements.\nAbility to safely operate a forklift or obtain forklift certification upon hire.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nUnderstanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.\nMust successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete applicable background checks, including drug screening, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience in a warehouse, stockroom, shipping and receiving, or manufacturing environment.\nExperience operating forklifts, overhead hoists, or other material-handling equipment.\nExperience with inventory control, cycle counting, or materials management.\nExperience using ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems.\nKnowledge of shipping documentation and freight handling procedures.\nForklift certification.\nGeneral Applicable Company Competencies \nCommitment to Watts’ values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.\nPunctuality and dependability.\nAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.\nAdherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.\nMaintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.\nAdherence to Watts’ seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.\nWorking Conditions:\nWhile performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company's Hutchinson, KS location.
