The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP data structures, business process analysis, data validation, analytics, and enterprise data modeling.\nThis role will be responsible for gathering business requirements, validating data across SAP and non-SAP systems supporting enterprise reporting initiatives, and partnering with Data Engineers to design scalable data models that enable trusted analytics and reporting. The candidate will play a key role in our ongoing transition from a traditional SQL-based data warehouse environment to a modern SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and Databricks ecosystem.\nPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities\nGather, analyze, document business, and reporting requirements from stakeholders across various business functions.\nTranslate business requirements into data, analytics, and reporting solutions.\nDevelop a strong understanding of SAP business processes and underlying data structures.\nValidate and reconcile analytics data against SAP source systems to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.\nPerform data quality assessments, root cause analysis, and data validation across SAP and non-SAP platforms.\nAnalyze source data and business processes to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.\nCollaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and Reporting Teams to design scalable enterprise data models.\nSupport conceptual, logical, and physical data model design for analytics and reporting solutions.\nCreate source-to-target mappings, business rules, and data transformation requirements.\nParticipate in data warehouse modernization initiatives involving BDC, Datasphere, Databricks, and cloud analytics platforms.\nSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, and production deployment activities.\nEnsure reporting and analytics solutions align with business requirements and governance standards.\nWork closely with business users to resolve data and reporting issues and improve analytics adoption.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or equivalent field required.\n5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Consultant, or similar role.\nStrong knowledge of SAP data structures and business processes with SAP modules such as: MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), PP (Production Planning), WM/EWM and Finance (FI/CO).\nExperience gathering and documenting business requirements and functional specifications.\nHands-on experience validating and reconciling reporting and analytics data with ERP source systems.\nExperience working with enterprise data warehouses and analytics platforms.\nStrong understanding of data modeling concepts, data lineage, and data governance principles.\nAbility to analyze business requirements from both SAP and non-SAP perspectives.\nExperience working with cross-functional stakeholders, business users, and technical teams.\nExperience documenting requirements, business processes, and functional specifications.\nExcellent stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/HANA, or similar SAP analytics platforms.\nStrong SQL skills for complex data analysis, data validation, data profiling, troubleshooting, and reconciliations.\nExperience with Databricks, Azure Data Lake, or cloud-based data and analytics platforms.\nExperience supporting Power BI datasets, semantic models, and reporting solutions.\nKnowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas, Fact and dimension design principles.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira\nGeneral Applicable Company Competencies\nCommitment to Watts’ values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.\nPunctuality and dependability.\nAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.\nAdherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.\nMaintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.\nAdherence to Watts’ seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.\nWorking Conditions\nWhile performing the job duties, you will be working remotely in an office environment.
