The position requires collaboration with key stakeholders to enhance statistical baseline forecasts in order to shape demand and help close gaps for achieving targets. This role is the key supply chain liaison regarding customer forecasts, alignment of plans and product availability.\nThis position reports to the Sr Manager, Demand & Capacity Planning.\nThis role is hybrid and is based in North Andover, MA.\nPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities\n Create demand forecasts for a 12-month rolling planning horizon by enriching the baseline statistical forecast with relevant input from Sales, Customers, Customer Project Managers, Supply/Operations, Marketing, Finance, and adjacent functions.\nUse and maintain the Statistical and Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool. \nEnter and modify data and ensure the correctness of the ERP and planning systems, product hierarchy.\nReview and analyze historical trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast analytics and evaluate forecast results.\nLead conversations with key counterparts, propose forecast adjustments and drive and/or support all relevant functions in countermeasures to help close gaps.\nProvide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.\nPrepare, understand, and distribute analytical reports related to forecast accuracy, inclusive of root cause analysis and impact on inventory, service levels and forward forecasts.\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in demand management, project planning, and scheduling, and/or supply chain management with the ability to engage/influence functional leaders and stakeholders.\nDemonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting, and forecasting methods, with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.\nYou must be a self-starter, thrive in a fast-paced matrixed environment, possess excellent communication skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel with pivots and v-lookups).\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior Anaplan experience preferred but not required.\nAPICS/IBF or other related certification preferred but not required.\nGeneral Applicable Company Competencies\nCommitment to Watts’ values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.\nPunctuality and dependability.\nAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.\nAdherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.\nMaintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.\nAdherence to Watts’ seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.\nWorking Conditions\nWhile performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the North Andover, MA location three days per week (Monday - Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday).\nPhysical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:\nAbility to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.\nAbility to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.\nAbility to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.\nAbility to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks.\nAbility to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.\nAbility to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.\nAbility to occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.\n\nPay Range\nThe expected salary range for this position is $$81,000 - $87,000 yearly.
