Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation - and we have a dynamic future ahead.\nScope of Position:\nThis highly motivated individual, as part of the Shipping Department, will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing inbound and outbound transportation activities to ensure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of goods.\nThis position reports to Logistics Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Fort Worth, Texas\nPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nLoad, plan, and schedule transportation for outbound and inbound shipments.\nProvide carriers with shipment information and ensure order changes are acknowledged and executed timely.\nRun daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support decision-making and drive operational efficiencies.\nResolve transportation delays, service disruptions, and shipment-related issues to ensure on-time delivery.\nPrepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), labels, and other shipping documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.\nAssist with processing freight claims and track claims through resolution.\nApply analytical methods and tools to monitor, understand, predict, and improve logistics operations.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategic solutions that enhance service, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.\nCollaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and carriers to support shipping and transportation objectives.\nMaintain compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and customer requirements.\nAssume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor or Company management.\nDemonstrate behaviors consistent with Watts Values: Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, and Transparency.\nTravel Requirements: 0%\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics Management, Business Administration or similar technical degree; or may consider relevant work experience (3+ years)\n2+ years of prior experience\nCritical thinking and problem-solving analysis\nStrategic thinking and business acumen\nSystems Evaluation\nActive Learning\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nProficient computer skills\nAdvanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as ERP and TMS systems\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail\nUnderstanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.\nMust successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.\nGeneral Applicable Company Competencies:\nCommitment to Watts’ values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.\nPunctuality and dependability.\nAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.\nAdherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.\nMaintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.\nAdherence to Watts’ seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.\nWorking Conditions:\nWhile performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Fort Worth location in Fort Worth Texas.
