This role focuses on learning existing processes, driving continuous improvement, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams while operating with a high level of independence.\nThis position reports to Manufacturing Engineering Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Menomonee Falls and Germantown, WI.\nPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities\nSupport and execute manufacturing process improvements focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.\nTroubleshoot manufacturing process issues and implement corrective actions using structured problem-solving techniques.\nSupport CNC machining operations through process improvements, tooling optimization, documentation updates, and work instruction development.\nApply existing Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools to reduce waste and improve efficiency.\nAssist with implementation of equipment, tooling, fixtures, and minor capital projects under guidance from senior engineers or leadership.\nDevelop, maintain, and update process documentation, standard work, routings, and work instructions to ensure consistent execution.\nCollaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and design teams to resolve issues and support manufacturing goals.\nSupport new product introductions by assisting with process readiness, PFMEAs, and initial production builds.\nUtilize CAD/CAM and CNC programming software (such as Mastercam, WoodWOP, or similar) to support manufacturing needs.\nFollow established Project Management and Lean best practices to complete assigned deliverables on schedule.\nChampion safety practices on the manufacturing floor and ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulatory requirements.\n· Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Company management.\n· Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n2+ years of relevant manufacturing or process engineering experience.\nExperience with CAD software.\nExperience using office software products for spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.\nExperience supporting CNC machining operations; exposure to Mastercam, WoodWOP, or similar CNC programming software.\nDemonstrated ability to learn quickly, work independently, and manage multiple priorities effectively.\nWorking knowledge of Lean fundamentals and basic problem-solving methodologies.\n· Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.\n· Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.\n· Travel between Menomonee Falls and Germantown facilities as needed.\nPreferred Qualifications\n5+ years of relevant manufacturing or process engineering experience preferred.\nFamiliarity with equipment specifying, justifying, ordering, installing, and commissioning.\nGeneral Applicable Company Competencies\n· Commitment to Watts’ values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.\n· Punctuality and dependability.\n· Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.\n· Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.\n· Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.\n· Adherence to Watts’ seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.\nWorking Conditions\nWhile performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Menomonee Falls and Germantown, WI location.
