Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation - and we have a dynamic future ahead.\nScope of the Position:\nThe SAP Master Data Lead is responsible for the governance, quality, integrity, and lifecycle management of enterprise master data across SAP and related business systems. This role serves as a subject matter expert for master data processes, standards, and governance practices, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of critical business data that supports operational excellence, regulatory compliance, reporting, and strategic decision-making.\nThis position supports enterprise master data management efforts by executing established governance processes, maintaining data quality standards, and participating in SAP implementation, integration, and business improvement initiatives. The SAP Master Data Lead partners with business and IT stakeholders to address data-related challenges, support process improvements, and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of master data across SAP and related systems.\nThis position reports to the SAP Master Data Manager and is remote.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nExecute on the creation, extension, maintenance, retirement, mapping, and governance of SAP master data in accordance with established business rules, standards, controls, and compliance requirements.\nServe as the subject matter expert for SAP master data domains including Material, Customer, Vendor, Finance, and other enterprise data objects.\nSupport SAP S/4HANA implementations, acquisitions, system enhancements, integrations, and data migration initiatives by providing master data expertise.\nMaintain, and enforce master data standards, governance frameworks, workflows, naming conventions, and data management procedures across the organization.\nMonitor, analyze, and improve data quality, consistency, completeness, accuracy, and compliance across SAP and connected business systems.\nPerform data validation, cleansing, auditing, root-cause analysis, and corrective action activities to ensure ongoing data integrity.\nSupport internal and external audits by maintaining appropriate governance controls, documentation, and compliance processes.\nPartner with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, define data standards, maintain business rules and mappings, and implement effective master data solutions.\nTranslate business needs into sustainable master data processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.\nIdentify opportunities to improve data governance, streamline processes, standardize practices, and increase automation.\nSupport testing, data validation, workflow administration, and deployment activities for projects impacting master data processes and systems.\nEnsure master data readiness and alignment during business transformation initiatives.\nDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve standard operating procedures, governance documentation, work instructions, business rules, and training materials.\nProvide guidance and consultation to business users regarding master data policies, standards, and best practices.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience.\n5+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, Data Governance, Business Systems, or related functions.\nIntermediate knowledge of master data governance principles, lifecycle management, data quality controls, and enterprise data standards.\nIntermediate experience with SAP master data structures, tables, and processes.\nExperience supporting SAP implementations, migrations, acquisitions, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.\nProven ability to influence stakeholders and build effective cross-functional partnerships.\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis capabilities.\nExperience developing and improving data governance and operational processes.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA.\nExperience with SAP MDG, Product Information Management (PIM), Incture, or related governance technologies.\nKnowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and commercial business processes.\nExperience with data migration, data quality tools, automation, and process improvement initiatives.\nGeneral Applicable Company Competencies\nCommitment to Watts' values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and transparency.\nPunctuality and dependability.\nAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and business needs.\nAdherence to all Watts personnel policies, procedures, and standards\nAbility to maintain productive and collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.\nAdherence to Watts' cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.\nWorking Conditions\nWhile performing the job duties, you will be working remotely in an office environment.
