Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation - and we have a dynamic future ahead.\nScope of Position\nThis highly motivated individual, as part of the Value Stream team, will be responsible for all Value Stream operations, including developing associates, achieving manufacturing goals, managing budgets, driving performance, and making timely operational and employment decisions for team leaders and associates.\nThis position is responsible for supervision of 35 direct reports.\nThis position reports to the Value Stream Manager, will be fully onsite and based in Fort Worth, Texas.\nPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities\nLead daily Value Stream operations and continuous improvement activities to achieve production goals, support AOP objectives, establish manufacturing priorities, coordinate with supply chain and off-shift leadership, and ensure on-time shipment of customer orders.\nDrive Lean manufacturing initiatives that improve productivity through continuous flow, pull systems, workload leveling, and waste reduction.\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring adherence to standardized work, implementing corrective actions, maintaining safety compliance, and utilizing WPS, 5S, and quality tools to support visual management and problem-solving.\nEnsure equipment reliability, safety, and operational effectiveness through regular audits and the implementation of preventive auditing processes.\nFoster a positive, accountable team environment by conducting regular team meetings, assigning responsibilities, and coordinating resources and support across departments.\nFacilitate tier meetings and employee engagement activities that encourage problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.\nDevelop and maintain a cross-trained workforce through training plans and skills matrices that ensure operational flexibility and business continuity.\nPartner with site leadership to develop, execute, and measure future-state value stream initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.\nManage employee performance through regular coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and recommendations related to development, advancement, and compensation.\nResponsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)\nTravel Requirements: 5%\nRequired Qualifications\nTwo-year associate degree or equivalent\n3+ years of supervisory experience and manufacturing accomplishments, including increasing responsibility and the execution of lean projects and teams of considerable size, scope and complexity.\nDemonstrated experience in managing costs, PC skills, manufacturing, inventory control and production planning.\nDemonstrated ability to lead and build effective teams to achieve objectives and results.\nKnowledge and experience in LEAN manufacturing and foundational lean/problem solving tools\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously\nKnowledge of company policies, rules and regulations applying to area of responsibility\nWorking knowledge of all manufacturing processes, equipment, parts and components in area of responsibility\nKnowledge of all environmental health and safety, quality and labor standards applying to area of responsibility\nLeadership and facilitation skills, problem solving and supervisory skills, and planning skills\nUnderstanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.\nMust successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.\nAbility to work 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 2PM-12:30AM\nGeneral Applicable Company Competencies\nCommitment to Watts’ values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.\nPunctuality and dependability.\nAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.\nAdherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.\nMaintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.\nAdherence to Watts’ seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.\nWorking Conditions:\nWhile performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Fort Worth location.
