Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast.\nOur goal is to make Africa the first cashless continent and that's where you come in...\nHow you'll help us achieve it\nAs Wave continues to grow in The Gambia, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can turn strategy into impactful execution-coordinating product launches and customer-facing initiatives that strengthen Wave’s presence and relevance across the market.\nReporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this is an individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of campaigns and marketing initiatives. You’ll bring strong planning, stakeholder management, and execution skills - helping the team deliver against critical business priorities while enabling the Senior Marketing Manager to focus on strategic direction, team development, quality standards, and larger market opportunities.\nIn this role, you'll; \nMarketing Strategy & Execution\nDevelop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.\nLead major marketing campaigns from planning to execution.\nIdentify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.\nEnsure all marketing activities reflect a strong understanding of customer needs.\nProject Management\nOwn marketing projects independently and ensure timely delivery.\nDevelop and maintain project timelines (retro planning), proactively managing risks and dependencies.\nCoordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver projects successfully.\nCreative Development\nDevelop clear and effective briefs for design teams and agencies.\nParticipate actively in creative review sessions, providing constructive feedback that improves campaign quality and impact.\nEnsure all marketing materials are aligned with Wave's brand standards and messaging.\nStakeholder & Agency Management\nWork closely with internal teams including Payments, Biz-dev, Sales, Product Marketing, and Support to facilitate project progression and success.\nDraft marketing project report/cycle reports for sharing with relevant internal audiences.\nManage relationships with agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality execution.\nKey details\nLocation: Gambia\nWork authorization in The Gambia is required. \nThis is a permanent position.\nOur salaries are competitive and calculated using a transparent formula. \nWe offer generous health insurance for yourself and your dependents. \nWe support working parents - we offer generous parental leave policies (26 weeks for mothers and 4 weeks for fathers) and subsidized childcare when you return to work.\nWe help you live your fullest life now!
