Responsible for machine setup, program monitoring and adjustments, weld quality verification, basic troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSet up robotic welding cells, including fixtures, tooling, wire, \nLoad and unload parts into robotic welding fixtures.\nStart, monitor, and adjust robotic welding programs to ensure proper weld quality.\nPerform minor program touch-ups and adjustments as required.\nInspect welds for quality, penetration, and appearance according to specifications.\nMust be able to use hand tools lie grinders, dyna files, and general tools that are necessary to remove weld berries and to perform other general labor operations in the department\nPerform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.\nPerform basic troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment and processes.\nPerform routine preventive maintenance tasks (cleaning, tip changes, wire changes).\nIdentify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety issues.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.\nFollow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.\nMeet production, quality, and efficiency standards.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support production needs.\nMust comply with Wayne Metals, LLC quality system requirements, defect/error prevention and waste reduction. Will be required to do quality checks.
