Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. \nRESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: \nCheck the main chill water meter reading at the beginning of shift.\nCheck all the pipes (chill water, transfer water, red water) to insure they are set and hooked up correctly.\nMake sure pumps on chillers, windmills and transfer water pumps are turned on.\nContinuously monitor the overflow on the chiller.\nMake scheduled process control checks on the chiller. Ensure that chiller is setup according to the chiller procedure.\nCheck temperature of birds exiting chiller.\nPerform HACCP critical control point temperature checks on birds every 30 minutes at the end of chiller.\nMake post-chill foreign material checks at post-chill station every hour.\nContinuously monitor the water level of the chillers.
