In addition, will perform housekeeping activities, maintenance and repair of equipment, and quality checks on ingredients. Also responsible for preventing theft or loss of product ensuring trucks leave empty. Responsible for compliance with all company policies, FSMA regulations, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:\nMix and route feed according to formulas, procedures and schedule utilizing batching controller, mixing equipment, routing equipment, destination bins and downstream operations.\nCommunicate and coordinate batching schedule and production with appropriate personnel maximizing efficiency while following FDA, GMP and QC procedures.\nAccurately complete and maintain assigned reports, logs and documents in a neat and orderly manner.\nMonitor and adjust equipment accordingly.\nUse proper operating parameters and equipment settings to effectively deliver a high quality product.\nPerform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.\nCommunicate equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.\nPerform routine housekeeping ensuring designated areas are kept clean.\nComply with all company policies, FSMA regulations, and local, state and federal laws, and regulations.\nPerform all other duties as assigned.\nREQUIRED SKILLS:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to perform basic math functions (i.e. proportions, percentages, area, volume, etc.).\nPossess basic computer knowledge and usage abilities.\nAbility to work unsupervised and self-motivate.\nAbility to work unsupervised and self-motivate.\nAbility to communicate effectively, and read and write legibly.\nPossess sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.\nPREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nPrevious feed mill experience.\nSAFETY REQUIREMENTS:\nFollow departmental and company safety policies and programs.\nWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.\nFrequently stoop, kneel, crawl and bend.\nFrequently climb stairs and 50+ foot ladders.\nAbility to lift and carry 50 -
