He/She/They will provide technical compliance support to the Chief Compliance Officer (“CCO”), who acts as the Head of the Compliance function in Luxembourg, and to Waystone Management Company (Lux) S.A. (“WMC Lux”) and its affiliate entities. His/Her/Their primary focus will be on implementing AML/CTF and broader regulatory compliance activities across WMC Lux UCITS Management Company, AIFM and related regulated activities, while actively participating in regulatory projects that impact the European Waystone Group entities which will give an opportunity to learn and work alongside international colleagues.\nKEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES\nExecution of AML/CTF and compliance monitoring controls.\nSupport of client onboarding and AML/CTF oversight activities.\nAssistance with compliance reviews, testing, and monitoring programmes.\nPreparation of management, Board and regulatory reports.\nSupport in responding to clients, funds, and regulatory compliance queries.\nDrafting and maintenance of policies, procedures, and internal governance documents.\nSupport of delegate oversight and due diligence activities.\nMaintenance of compliance records. Registers, trackers, and action plans.\nAssistance with incident, breach, complaint, and regulatory enquiry management.\nDAY TO DAY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform AML/CTF and Compliance monitoring controls in accordance with the annual Compliance Monitoring Programme and AML/CFT Control Plan.\nReview and assess AML/KYC documentation, due diligence files, and client-related compliance matters.\nSupport the oversight of delegated service providers, including Central Administrators, Transfer Agents, Investment Managers and other third-party providers.\nAssist in the identification, assessment and escalation of compliance, regulatory and financial crime risks.\nMonitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements.\nDraft, review and maintain compliance policies, procedures, frameworks, registers and governance documentation.\nSupport the development and continuous enhancement of the Company's internal governance and control framework.\nAssist in responding to client, fund, Board and delegate regulatory and compliance queries.\nPrepare management information, compliance dashboards, KPIs and reports for Conducting Officers, Board meetings and committees.\nSupport the preparation of annual compliance reports, AML/CTF reports, risk assessments and regulatory filings.\nMaintain compliance registers, action trackers, breaches logs, complaints registers and conflicts of interest records.\nAssist in compliance reviews, thematic assessments and internal control testing exercises.\nSupport due diligence and ongoing monitoring of delegates, distributors and other third-party service providers.\nSupport the delivery of compliance and AML/CFT training and awareness initiatives.\nTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD\nEnjoy working in a team environment.\nEnjoy and display open communication.\nBe prepared to take on new tasks and have the desire to learn “on the job”.\nMaintain good working relationships and good communication channels with the business and liaise with them in an open and collaborative manner.\nPromote a Compliance focused culture within the Waystone Group.\nShare key learning and knowledge lessons at team meetings or training sessions.\nMust want to work in a fast-paced environment and providing support to various members of the team.\nBe fluent in English (French would be an asset)\nREQUIREMENTS\nEducation:\nAn internationally recognised degree and/or professional qualification in Law, Finance, or Economics.\nProfessional certification in Compliance would be an advantage.\nExperience:\nMinimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in compliance within the financial sector with proven achievement in team and individual capacities.\nStrong knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD regulations and be prepared to learn new ones.\nKnowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory landscape and a clear ability to interpret and understand the implications of new regulations.
