This is more than just a job - it’s a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.\nAbout the role\nThe IPS Service Manager will lead and oversee the delivery of a high-quality Individual Placement and Support (IPS) employment service, supporting people with mental health difficulties to secure and sustain paid employment. The role involves managing a team of six, maintaining strong relationships with employers and key partners, and ensuring the service meets IPS Fidelity standards, contractual requirements and Waythrough policies.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead, support and develop a team of IPS employment specialists.\nEnsure the service delivers high-quality, person-centred employment support in line with the IPS model.\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with employers, JCP, DWP and other stakeholders.\nProvide training, mentoring and guidance to staff, employers and partners.\nMonitor service performance, management information and data quality.\nSupport contract management, reporting and preparation of information for commissioners.\nOversee audits, risk management, health and safety, and compliance across the service.\nIdentify opportunities for service development, innovation and continuous improvement.\nAct as an expert lead for IPS, sharing good practice across Waythrough.\nWhat we’re looking for\nStrong knowledge and understanding of the IPS model and Fidelity principles.\nExperience of managing and developing teams, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.\nSubstantial experience of contract management, business planning and managing budgets.\nExperience of business development, innovation and service improvement.\nExperience of audits, performance monitoring and using management information to improve services.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employers, commissioners and partners.\nAbility to manage competing priorities, use sound judgement and delegate effectively.\nA proactive, solution-focused and outcome-focused approach.\nDegree-level education and/or relevant leadership and management qualifications.\nA full clean driving licence and access to your own transport.\nTo view the full Job Description, please click here.\nWhat We Offer\nWe value the people who make a difference every day.
