This is more than just a job - it’s a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.\nAs a Safeguarding Trainer at Waythrough you will deliver high-quality safeguarding training that builds understanding, confidence and competence to work safely and effectively with service users.\nThis role supports the development of a trauma-informed safeguarding culture by delivering consistent and reflective learning experiences across regions and services.\nYou'll:\nDeliver high-quality safeguarding training to a range of employee groups.\nFacilitate engaging and inclusive learning experiences that build confidence and competence.\nDeliver training aligned with safeguarding legislation, organisational policies and trauma-informed practice.\nAdapt training delivery to meet different learning styles, service settings and operational needs.\nWork closely with safeguarding specialists, managers and learning colleagues to support workforce development.\nTrack attendance, learner feedback and training outcomes to support compliance and continuous improvement.\nResponsible for contributing to insights and observations to inform safeguarding trends and learning needs and ensuring training content is accurate, up-to-date, and responsive to trends or emerging risks..\nPromote a learning culture where staff feel empowered to raise concerns and seek support.\nPartner with operational colleagues to understand real-world safeguarding challenges and tailor training to reflect this.\nWe're particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have:\nStrong safeguarding knowledge and practical understanding of safeguarding adults and/or children.\nOperational experience and understand service needs (desirable)\nKnowledge and experience within the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) arena.\nExperience delivering training, workshops or learning sessions to groups would be advantageous but is not essential as training can be provided\nExcellent communication and facilitation skills.\nExperience working in health, social care, community services or a related environment.\nPlease note interview will be held virtually on 27th November 2026.\nIf you're passionate about safeguarding, confident in delivering impactful learning, and want to help shape a culture where people can thrive safely, we'd love to hear from you.\nFor Full Job Description Please Click Here\nWhat We Offer\nWe value the people who make a difference every day.
