Every role here, whatever the team, plugs into that.\nHere’s what this particular role covers.\nAbout our Fleet Operations Team\nOur Fleet Operations Team ensures that our vehicles and staff continuously meet the highest standards in safety, performance, and regulatory compliance. Working collaboratively across various functions, the team plays a key role in developing and delivering training, maintaining operating standards, and supporting the professional growth of our people within a fast-paced and innovative environment.\nYour day-to-day\nMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making recommendations for improvements.\n\nMaintain up-to-date training records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.\n\nConduct regular assessments of operating standards across teams and individuals to uphold our quality objectives.\n\nDevelop and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources.\n\nWork closely with subject matter experts to identify areas for improvement in training content, delivery, and operating standards.\n\nMonitor and analyse training metrics to identify trends and suggest opportunities for improvement.\n\nDevelop and oversee implementation of quality assurance processes for both training programs and operating standards.\n\nSupport staff professional development and course completion, in conjunction with Team Leads.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and anticipate training needs related to the growth of commercial operations.\n\nWhat you’ll be working on\nBuilding, evaluating, and improving training programs for fleet operations.\n\nUpholding and enhancing the effectiveness and compliance of all operating standards across teams.\n\nCreating and updating a library of high-quality training materials.\n\nImplementing and tracking quality assurance processes for all training and operational exercises.\n\nSupporting the development and progression of Wayve’s staff through tailored training and development initiatives.\n\nAnalysing data to ensure continuous improvement of both training content and delivery methods.\n\nYou should apply if\nYou hold a full clean US driving licence and have at least 8 years' driving experience (mainly in the US).\n\nYou have no blameworthy insurance claims within the past three years.\n\nYou remain calm and controlled in pressured situations.\n\nYou’re receptive to feedback, eager to learn from mistakes, and have a growth mindset.\n\nYou enjoy working closely with people in a team environment.\n\nYou can manage your wellbeing (including fatigue/stress) and have proven personal strategies for doing so.\n\nYou have proven experience as a team coordinator or in a similar role.\n\nYou demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills-both one-to-one, within your team, and when engaging other stakeholders.\n\nYou can work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.\n\nYou have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, time management, and organisational ability.\n\nYou are proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office suite.\n\nYou have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.\n\nDesirable:\nRecognised Assessor qualification.\n\nQualified Vehicle Safety Operator with a current qualification.\n\nRecognised Quality Assurance qualification.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\nAvailable to work full-time onsite (Detroit office), 5 days a week.\n\nMust disclose any second job as part of the application process.\n\nEmployment is contingent upon passing training, pre-employment checks, and ongoing drug/alcohol testing in line with company policy.
