Every role here, whatever the team, plugs into that.\nHere’s what this particular role covers.\nSystem Integration Engineer\nAbout our Systems Integration Team\nWayve's Systems Integration team brings together hardware and software across autonomous vehicle platforms, development benches and Hardware-in-the-Loop systems. The team prototypes, assembles, brings up and troubleshoots complex systems to improve the performance, reliability and repeatability of our next-generation vehicle platforms.\nYour day-to-day\nAs a System Integration Engineer at Wayve, you'll lead the integration and bring-up of cutting-edge autonomous vehicle platforms. You'll work across hardware and software boundaries to prototype, assemble and test complex systems both in-vehicle and on development benches, while supporting vehicle integration development and issue troubleshooting to improve the performance and reliability of our next-generation systems.\nWhat you’ll be working on:\nIntegrate and bring up autonomous systems on internal and partner vehicles.\nArchitect, prototype and evaluate new hardware systems.\nSupport fleet troubleshooting and issue resolution.\nInform and improve system integration processes and workflows.\nBring up and maintain development benches and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems.\nYou should apply if:\nYou have 7+ years of experience integrating and developing complex systems.\nYou bring broad technical comprehension across electrical, mechanical and software systems.\nYou have proven hands-on experience debugging and assembling hardware/software systems.\nYou communicate and collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines.\nYou bring multidisciplinary troubleshooting skills, a strong sense of ownership and the initiative to drive issues through to resolution.\nYou have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.\nNice to have\nYou have experience working on autonomous vehicles, robotics or similar advanced systems.\nYou are skilled in prototyping electronics, wire harnesses and custom hardware components.\nYou are comfortable working in Linux environments and with scripting tools.\nYou can read and understand code in languages such as C++, Python or JavaScript.\nYou have experience using application-level software for testing, flashing and triaging issues.\nYou have experience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers on design validation and manufacturing.\nThis is a full-time role based in Sunnyvale, CA (hybrid). The reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $246,400 to $289,900, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.
