This opportunity plays a crucial and active role across both accounts payable and accounts receivable.\nThe position offers full immersion in the fast-paced world of finance, where you will manage day-to-day operations while putting your problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking to the test.\nWe’re looking for someone highly organised and detail-orientated, with a 'can-do' attitude and a drive to learn.\nYou are required to already hold a UK Right to Work as well as be able to attend the London office 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday).\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Have Delivered Elsewhere\nOverseen and managed accounts payable ledgers, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices.\nSupported the accounts receivable process, facilitating prompt payment collections, credit control, and account management.\nRaised client invoices in a timely and accurate manner.\nEnsured all core financial ledgers were accurately maintained and updated regularly.\nHandled bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring all transactions were correctly recorded and discrepancies resolved swiftly. \nDelivered weekly timesheet reporting across the business.\nSupported the wider finance team with key month-end reporting tasks, including:\nTracked and managed freelancer accruals to ensure precise expense reporting.\nPerformed month-end balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts balanced and discrepancies were promptly addressed.\nAssisted with revenue postings for Paid Media and production.\nAssisted with job reconciliations.\nContinually reviewed and managed the ERP system to ensure complete accuracy across employee data, client information, and job setups in line with reporting requirements.\nAssisted with ad-hoc financial requests, analysis, and support as required.\nWhat Else Are We Looking For?\nDemonstrates strong organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail.\nExhibits an enthusiastic and proactive attitude, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.\nSome experience using MS Excel and Google Sheets at a moderate level.\nStudying an ACCA or CIMA certification.\nKeen interest in learning and developing skills in finance. \nBenefits\nEquity, Diversity and Inclusion runs in the water here at We Are Social.
