We connect wealth managers, external asset managers, family offices and banks to their custodian data and turn it into clean, usable portfolio information through our platform: Connector, WealthArc Data Box (WDB), WISDOM, Prism and Creator, as well as our PMS, Viewer and agentic AI applications.\nWe are building a SaaS platform for the wealth management industry, supporting the integration, processing and delivery of financial data.\nWe are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who will have a real impact on the development of our backend platform using C#/.NET and Azure.This role is for someone who combines strong technical skills with the ability to design solutions, make architectural decisions and look beyond the code - considering business requirements, domain boundaries, quality and long-term technical consequences.\nYou will have significant ownership over the solutions you build and will contribute not only to the codebase, but also to the technical direction and engineering practices of the team.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop backend services using C#/.NET on Azure.\nDesign domain models using DDD, including defining business boundaries, responsibilities and contracts between components.\nDesign APIs, integrations and financial data processing workflows with a focus on correctness, performance, reliability and security.\nMake architectural decisions and evaluate trade-offs between different technical approaches.\nGradually modernize existing solutions and improve the overall quality of the architecture.\nLead more complex topics end-to-end, from problem analysis and requirements through implementation, deployment and production operation.\nDiagnose complex production issues and make decisions on how to address them.\nUse AI throughout the software development lifecycle, while critically evaluating and validating AI-generated results.\nWork closely with AI Engineers on designing and integrating AI-powered functionality with backend services.\nCollaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and other engineers.\nSupport other engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing and technical problem-solving.\nContribute to technical standards, engineering practices and the continuous improvement of the team.\nRequirements:\n5+ years of experience developing backend applications with C#/.NET.\nStrong knowledge of C#/.NET, including designing components and production-grade solutions.\nStrong experience with SQL / SQL Server / Azure SQL, including data modelling, query optimization and diagnosing performance issues.\nStrong knowledge of REST APIs / HTTP, including contract design, versioning, compatibility and secure integrations.\nPractical experience with DDD, SOLID and design patterns, including the ability to define appropriate domain boundaries.\nExperience with Azure App Service and Azure Functions, including the ability to select appropriate Azure services for specific requirements.\nExperience with Azure Service Bus and asynchronous communication.\nStrong knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps / CI/CD.\nExperience with unit and integration testing and a good understanding of testable architecture.\nExperience with application monitoring and production troubleshooting using logs and Application Insights.\nExperience with Azure Storage / Key Vault and understanding of secrets management.\nExperience with caching solutions such as Redis and understanding of their impact on data consistency.\nProfessional proficiency in English (spoken and written) and Polish.\nNice to have:Experience with Entra ID / OAuth 2.0 and secure API access.\nExperience with containers and Infrastructure as Code.\nExperience integrating AI models or working with MCP.\nExperience designing or implementing solutions using AI assistants / AI agents.\nExperience working end-to-end, including some frontend development.\nExperience in fintech, financial services or data-intensive products.\nAI is already part of our everyday software development process.
