This Staff Augmentation work can be performed in a remote setting or in client office with Municipal Agency staff.\nResponsibilities & Duties:\nMust be able to work independently with limited supervision\nPossess the knowledge and ability to work with municipal reference documents in conjunction with project plans and specifications\nMay include work in office with municipal Agency staff\nMust be able to utilize independent judgment and initiative to achieve project objectives\nExperience with development improvement plan review (e.g. grading, street, storm drain/hydrology, water, recycled water, and sewer plan set submittals)\nCheck for accuracy of design and adherence to Agency guidelines, standards, specifications, and check lists\nEvaluate design for constructability, maintainability, and operability\nTrack project budgets and prepare construction cost estimates\nInterface with Agency staff, inspectors, developers, engineers, and the public/customers\nMeet tight deadlines, prioritize tasks quickly, and coordinate schedules with several concurrent projects.\nSite visits/meetings with applicant, as necessary\nTrack project’s milestones throughout plan check and construction cycle\nQualifications & Skills:\nCollege Degree, Civil Engineering degree, required\nProfessional Engineering License, preferred\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant civil engineering, plan check, or pipeline design experience, preferred\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe hourly rate offered for this position is $54-68/hr.
