The DevOps Engineer focuses on building, operating, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform services. In close partnership with product and engineering teams, the role helps reduce lead time, lower failure rates, and provide a scalable, secure, and high-quality developer experience. The DevOps Engineer applies a structured and analytical approach to incident investigation and problem solving, identifying root causes across applications, infrastructure, and network layers.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDesign, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines and platform services (e.g. container platforms, artifact repositories, secrets, and environments) with a strong automation-first mindset.\n\nInfrastructure as Code: Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g. Azure) using Terraform or comparable tools.\n\nReliability & Operations: Participate in incident response, post-mortems, and root cause analyses.\n\nApply structured troubleshooting methodologies to identify and resolve issues across applications, infrastructure, cloud services, and network components. Actively contribute to reducing MTTR and improving operational reliability.\n\nNetwork & Platform Fundamentals: Understand and troubleshoot core networking concepts such as DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls, TLS/SSL, HTTP(S), and connectivity issues in cloud and hybrid environments. Collaborate effectively with network, platform, and development teams to resolve complex operational problems.\n\nObservability & Monitoring: Build and continuously improve monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.\n\nSecurity by Design: Embed security and compliance controls into pipelines (e.g. secrets management, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code).\n\nDeveloper Enablement: Create and maintain templates, golden paths, and self-service capabilities to reduce lead time and cognitive load for development teams.\n\nYOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT IF\nStrong hands-on experience spanning software development, IT operations, and networking, combined with the ability to analyse systems end-to-end and identify root causes across application, infrastructure, and network layers.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a structured approach to identifying root causes.\n\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, routing, load balancing, TLS/SSL, proxies, and connectivity troubleshooting.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure).\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).\n\nExperience with CI/CD platforms and automation tooling.\n\nScripting experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.\n\nSolid understanding of reliability and observability concepts (monitoring, alerting,
