We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone involved in football and actively encourage applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Operations Administrator Apprentice to join our Football Operations Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within football administration while working towards an apprenticeship qualification.\nYou'll play an important role in supporting football operations across Hampshire, helping to deliver excellent customer service, support safeguarding processes, maintain FA systems and assist with competitions, clubs and referee administration.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the implementation of The FA's Safeguarding 365 Operating Standard.\nProvide professional and efficient customer service to clubs, leagues, referees and stakeholders.\nAssist with the administration of County Cup competitions and finals.\nSupport player registration enquiries and club affiliation renewals through the Platform for Football (PFF).\nMaintain accurate records across FA administration systems.\nAssist with referee administration, including course bookings and venue coordination.\nSupport safeguarding administration and casework monitoring processes.\nAssist with invoicing and finance administration activities.\nPromote and support the use of FA technology systems.\nProvide general administrative support to the Football Operations Team.\nComplete apprenticeship learning and development activities and apply learning in the workplace.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential\nExcellent organisational and time management skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nStrong attention to detail.\nGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to manage confidential information appropriately.\nWillingness to learn new systems and processes.\nGCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above, where required for the apprenticeship).\nUnderstanding of equality, diversity and inclusion.\nDesirable\nPrevious administration, customer service or volunteer experience.\nAn interest in grassroots football.\nUnderstanding of The FA and the grassroots football landscape.\nKnowledge of safeguarding principles.\nExperience dealing with challenging situations professionally.\nWhy Join Hampshire FA?\nGain valuable experience with a respected football organisation.\nWork towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.\nHybrid working opportunities.\nSupportive learning and development environment.\nPlay a key role in supporting grassroots football across Hampshire.\nEquality, Diversity & Inclusion\nHampshire FA is committed to ensuring football is accessible and inclusive for everyone.
