This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced Superintendent who understands site work, concrete, hardscape, drainage, and landscape construction and can take ownership of crews, subcontractors, schedules, quality, and day-to-day execution.\nYou'll be the field leader responsible for keeping multiple moving pieces organized and productive while anticipating problems before they affect the project. The right person combines strong construction knowledge with accountability, communication, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work while protecting schedule and profitability.\nWhat You'll Do as the Site Superintendent:\nLead day-to-day field operations across active construction projects\nCoordinate company crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, suppliers, and deliveries\nBuild and maintain short-term schedules and look-ahead plans that keep field activities moving\nManage manpower and monitor labor productivity against project needs\nEnsure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality expectations\nOversee site work, concrete, drainage, utilities, hardscape, landscape, and related scopes\nRead and interpret construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings\nCoordinate closely with Project Managers on schedules, procurement, budgets, change conditions, and project priorities\nConduct regular field inspections focused on safety, workmanship, productivity, and overall project progress\nIdentify constructability issues, sequencing conflicts, material needs, and potential delays before they become larger problems\nHold crews and subcontractors accountable for productivity, workmanship, safety, and commitments\nCommunicate professionally with Project Managers, clients, general contractors, architects, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders\nMaintain accurate daily reports, progress photos, manpower information, and field documentation\nParticipate in project and coordination meetings as needed\nEnforce company safety standards and applicable OSHA requirements\nHelp resolve unexpected field conditions while protecting project schedule and budget\nDrive punch-list completion, closeout activities, and successful project turnover\nTake ownership of field results rather than waiting for problems to be escalated or solved by others\nMust-Haves as the Site Superintendent:\n5+ years of construction Superintendent or comparable field-leadership experience\nStrong experience in site work, concrete, civil construction, hardscape, landscape construction, or closely related scopes\nAbility to independently manage field operations, crews, and subcontractors\nStrong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and field coordination\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications\nExperience developing and working from project schedules and look-ahead plans\nStrong understanding of labor productivity and manpower planning\nAbility to coordinate equipment, materials, deliveries, and subcontracted work\nStrong leadership skills with the confidence to hold crews and subcontractors accountable\nAbility to identify field problems early and develop practical solutions\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously\nClear, professional communication with both field personnel and project stakeholders\nComfortable using smartphones, tablets, and construction technology for field reporting and communication\nValid driver's license and reliable transportation\n40-hour Site Safety Training (SST) certification\nStrong commitment to jobsite safety, quality, and accountability\nNice-to-Haves as the Site Superintendent:\nBroad experience spanning site utilities, drainage, concrete, hardscape, and landscape installation\nExperience with complex commercial landscape and exterior construction\nRooftop amenity or rooftop landscape construction experience\nExperience managing projects ranging from approximately $500,000 to $10 million+\nExperience simultaneously coordinating several crews and subcontractors\nExperience with large-scale site development and infrastructure improvements\nStrong concrete construction background\nExperience working in demanding urban construction environments\nExperience coordinating directly with owners, architects, general contractors, and construction managers\nFamiliarity with construction management and field-reporting software\nBenefit
