This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced mechanical construction professional who wants to leverage years of field expertise in a stable manufacturing environment while helping deliver complex modular systems for some of the country's most demanding commercial and industrial projects.\nMust-Haves :\n5+ years of experience installing commercial or industrial mechanical systems\nExperience as a Foreman, Lead Fitter, Superintendent, or other field leadership role, or equivalent informal leadership experience\nStrong knowledge of pumps, valves, industrial piping systems, and mechanical equipment installation\nAbility to read and interpret fabrication drawings, piping isometrics, equipment layouts, and engineering documentation\nExperience identifying constructability, installation, and serviceability issues before project completion\nStrong attention to detail with excellent communication and problem-solving skills\nExperience working on at least one of the following project types:Healthcare\nData Centers\nAutomotive Manufacturing\nMission-Critical Facilities\n\nLocal candidate able to work onsite in the Tuscaloosa, Alabama area\nWhat You'll Do :\nServe as the final quality checkpoint before mechanical modules leave the manufacturing facility\nInspect pumps, valves, piping systems, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications\nIdentify constructability issues before shipment, including access concerns, piping interferences, equipment orientation, serviceability, and installation sequencing\nVerify proper installation, alignment, and overall fit and finish of modular mechanical systems\nPartner with fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly, electrical, and engineering teams to resolve quality and constructability issues\nReview fabrication drawings, piping isometrics, equipment layouts, and installation details\nParticipate in final shipment readiness inspections and documentation\nSupport root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce field rework and improve installation efficiency\nMentor junior quality personnel and help establish best practices throughout the manufacturing operation\nChampion a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement\nNice-to-Haves:\nASME piping experience\nQA/QC inspection experience\nExperience in modular construction or off-site manufacturing\nCWI, NDT, or other quality certifications\nExperience with industrial process piping\nMechanical contracting background\nExperience mentoring field personnel or junior inspectors\nThis Role Offers:\nRelocation Assistance\nBase salary of $90,000-$150,000, depending on experience\nAnnual performance-based bonus opportunity\n401K & strong benefits package\nStable first-shift schedule, generally Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM\nOpportunity to transition from field construction into a manufacturing environment with significantly less travel\nBrand new position created as part of a rapidly expanding operation\nState-of-the-art manufacturing facility specializing in modular construction\nOpportunity to work on healthcare, automotive, mission-critical, and industrial projects across the country\nSignificant long-term advancement potential into Quality Management and operational leadership\nCollaborative culture focused on craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous improvement\nTrueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
