This is an active, complex redevelopment requiring a hands-on leader who can quickly assess the project’s current status, take ownership and drive it through completion.\nThe project is expected to span approximately three to five years, providing long-term stability and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in a major Cleveland redevelopment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTake day-to-day ownership of a large, active renovation and redevelopment project\nReview the current project status, plans, specifications, contracts, schedule, budget and outstanding issues\nManage construction budgets, cost forecasting, commitments and financial reporting\nMaintain and update the master project schedule\nCoordinate procurement, subcontractor buyout and material lead times\nManage general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects and engineers\nOversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications and project documentation\nCoordinate construction activities around existing office tenants and ongoing building operations\nMonitor field progress, quality, safety, schedule and contractor performance\nIdentify project risks and resolve field, design, cost and scheduling issues\nHold contractors and project partners accountable for deadlines and deliverables\nCommunicate project status, risks and recommendations to ownership\nLead the project through inspections, turnover, punch-list completion and closeout\nWhat We’re Looking For\nSignificant construction project-management experience with commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, institutional or other complex building projects\nDemonstrated ownership of sizable projects from preconstruction or early planning through closeout\nExperience managing budgets, forecasting, schedules, procurement, contracts, subcontractors, RFIs, submittals and change orders\nStrong field knowledge and the ability to independently solve construction problems\nExperience taking over an active or challenged project is highly valued\nMajor renovation, occupied-building, adaptive-reuse or existing-building redevelopment experience is strongly preferred\nMultifamily, apartment, high-rise or office-to-residential conversion experience is a plus\nEstablished relationships with Cleveland-area contractors, subcontractors or consultants are helpful\nAbility and willingness to work onsite in
