We are looking for someone who can thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, emerging growth environment to help take the Accounting function to the next level. This role oversees the monthly close process for the sales to cash cycle, manages the accounting team, partners cross-functionally with Finance and business leaders, and supports strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence and scalable growth.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nManage and oversee the month-end close processes covering the entire sales-to-cash cycle for all revenue streams. This includes the review and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations and reviewing the work of others.\nIdentify areas of opportunity around the month-end close process and enhance process documentation of areas of responsibility. \nLead projects to drive improvements in these areas with a focus on efficiency, the use of financial systems and reporting tools.\nDevelop scalable AR processes in support of our growing B2B partnerships and develop scalable reporting and GL processes around our growing retail business.\nSupport the reporting and settlement of royalties of licensed products and agreements.\nConsistently manage and execute the on-time completion of all month-end close responsibilities and support the quarterly earnings cycle. Maintain strict discipline over close deadlines and timely review of team deliverables.\nSupervise, mentor, manage and develop staff, conduct performance evaluations and foster cross-functional collaboration across the company.\nCollaborate with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to review monthly results and handle ad hoc financial reporting.\nMaintain ongoing compliance of SOX controls including the preparation and retention of all necessary documentation. Monitor appropriate execution of the control environment, including leading control walkthrough meetings..\nAssist with the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations. \nCoordinate with external auditors to provide required documentation and analysis for audits. \nSupport ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to process improvement, management reporting, technology integration, and data analytics. \nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting\nIn depth knowledge of US GAAP\nCurrent CPA \nBig 4 Public Accounting and strong SOX 404 experience \n8+ years experience with a combination of public accounting and/or public company industry experience, preferably at a rapidly growing retail and e-commerce company with a focus on the sales-to-cash cycle. \nStrong leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage and develop a team, maintain a high level of excellence and maintain strong internal controls.\nFamiliarity with international accounting processes, working with multiple currencies and international consolidations.\nIFRS experience preferred\nNetSuite OneWorld experience required.\nAble to work with a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment.\nAble to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.\nStrong teamwork and business partnering capabilities.\nForward looking thinker who can articulate the need for and implement process improvements.\nAbility to leverage technology for efficient data gathering and analysis.\nExperience implementing accounting systems or process automation\nWhat We look For:\nSomeone who can take a task from 0 to 100 without a lot of direction; a self-starter that makes it happen\nThe ability to synthesize large sets of data from multiple, sometimes unrelated, sources\nProven work ethic and integrity\nPositive attitude and a desire to excel and grow with FIGS\nTeam player with an egoless nature and an entrepreneurial spirit\nFIGS Compensation and Benefits\nPay Range\nAt FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $170,000 and $190,000.
