You will partner with Product, Design, Backend, Platform, Security, and Support teams while mentoring engineers and establishing scalable mobile engineering practices.\nThis is an opportunity to shape Weave’s mobile architecture, improve developer experience, and deliver reliable communication tools that healthcare practices depend on every day.\nIf you’re excited by meaningful ownership, technical influence, and building products that power real-world businesses - you’ll thrive at Weave.\nThis role is remote within India\n\nThis role reports to the Engineering Manager\n\nWhat You Will Own\nMobile Architecture: Design and evolve scalable Flutter/Dart applications with native iOS and Android integrations.\n\nCI/CD and Releases: Build and maintain GitHub Actions and Fastlane workflows for testing, signing, and App Store and Google Play deployments.\n\nTest Infrastructure: Define and improve unit, widget, integration, native UI, and end-to-end testing strategies.\n\nMobile Operations: Own dependency updates, SDK upgrades, release health, crash monitoring, alerting, and incident follow-up.\n\nPerformance and Reliability: Diagnose memory issues, UI jank, network latency, crashes, and background execution problems.\n\nCross-Functional Delivery: Partner with Product, Design, Backend, Platform, Security, and Support teams to deliver reliable customer experiences.\n\nPlatform Compliance: Lead annual iOS and Android SDK target version upgrades, manage OS deprecations, and maintain store policy compliance.\nWhat You Will Need to Accomplish the Job\n5+ years of professional mobile engineering experience\n\nDeep Flutter and Dart experience in production applications\n\nStrong native iOS experience with Swift and iOS SDKs\n\nWorking knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, Gradle, and Android release processes\n\nExperience designing GitHub Actions and Fastlane pipelines\n\nExperience with mobile code signing, provisioning profiles, and store deployments\n\nStrong knowledge of unit, widget, bloc, integration, and end-to-end testing\n\nSolid understanding of WebSocket implementation for real-time communication, connection management, and error handling\n\nStrong knowledge of push notification services, including FCM and APNS\n\nExperience with Sentry, Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, or similar tools\n\nFamiliarity with dependency management, SDK upgrades, security updates, and compliance requirements\n\nStrong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, persistence, networking, and offline synchronization\n\nStrong knowledge of production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis using logs, metrics, traces, and crash reports\n\nExcellent communication, documentation, mentoring, and remote collaboration skills.\nWhat will make us love you?\nYou own the mobile lifecycle from architecture through production.\n\nYou improve release safety, reliability, performance, and developer experience.\n\nYou understand Flutter deeply, along with native iOS and Android.\n\nYou use AI thoughtfully with strong engineering judgment and review standards.\n\nYou mentor others and raise the mobile team's quality.\n\nEmployment with Weave is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, conducted in accordance with applicable laws.\nAt Weave, we use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to help us work more efficiently and create a smoother candidate experience.
