We’re excited to bring in talent that wants to elevate engineers around them.\nIf you’re excited by meaningful ownership, technical influence, and building products that power real-world businesses - you’ll thrive at Weave.\nThis role is remote within India\n\nThis role reports to the Engineering Manager\nWhat you will own\nBuild Features: Develop smooth, cross-platform UI components for both iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart.\n\nIntegrate Systems: Connect our mobile application to backend APIs and handle local data management efficiently.\n\nCode Maintenance: Write clean, readable, and maintainable code following team standards.\n\nEnsure Quality: Write reliable unit, widget and integration tests to keep our application stable and crash-free and ensure multi-component interactions and workflows operate seamlessly.\n\nBug Fixing: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks reported by support teams or users.\n\nCollaborate: Partner closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers within an Agile framework to bring ideas to life. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews. Actively seek feedback and learn from senior mobile engineers.\n\nPair Programming & Learning: Participate in regular pair programming sessions and code reviews with senior developers to accelerate your technical growth and master engineering best practices.\n\nOptimize: Debug, troubleshoot, and fine-tune application performance across a wide variety of devices and screen sizes.\nWhat You Will Need to Accomplish the Job\n2-3 years of professional mobile development experience focusing on Flutter and Dart.\n\nStrong grasp of modern state management solutions (e.g., Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider).\n\nSolid experience integrating RESTful APIs and utilizing local databases (SQLite/Hive).\n\nProficiency with Git version control, pull requests, and standard code review processes and ticketing systems.\n\nA keen eye for UI/UX details, animations, and responsive design.\n\nStrong communication skills to thrive in a highly collaborative, remote-first team.\n\nPrior exposure to native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development is a major plus.\n\nBasic familiarity with how mobile applications work under the hood and how to handle app lifecycles.\n\nUnderstanding of fundamental mobile app architecture concepts to help write clean, organized code.\n\nEagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced environment.\n\nMarket awareness and curiosity to keep up to date with mobile industry trends.\n\nAwareness of modern developer productivity tools and AI development tools.\nWhat will make us love you\n\nExperience building a world class mobile application.\n\nGood knowledge of idiomatic Dart, Swift or Kotlin languages and Flutter framework.\n\nExperience with Flutter state management patterns such as BloC, Cubit, or similar libraries.\n\nExperience with Sentry, SQLite/Hive, Firebase, GitHub (or similar tools and frameworks).\n\nExperience performance benchmarking and tuning.\n\nUnderstanding of how mobile systems are deployed, monitored, and operated in production.\n\nEmployment with Weave is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, conducted in accordance with applicable laws.\nAt Weave, we use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to help us work more efficiently and create a smoother candidate experience.
