Help keep our plant running.\nIf you enjoy figuring out why equipment isn’t working-and making repairs that last-join Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing as a Maintenance Technician.\nYou’ll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support equipment improvements in our food manufacturing facility. Working alongside Maintenance, Engineering, and Production, you’ll help keep equipment safe, reliable, and ready for production.\nWhat you’ll do\nTroubleshoot and repair equipment: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues on production and packaging machinery. Respond to breakdowns and help restore operation safely.\nPrevent problems: Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections, identify worn or failing components, and address recurring equipment issues.\n Work with controls and technical systems: Support equipment PCs, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), instrumentation, wiring, calibration, and replacement control components.\nUse technical information: Read equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, and system drawings to guide troubleshooting and repairs.\nSupport installations and improvements: Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, startups, and operational testing.\nShare your knowledge: Help train and mentor other technicians, communicate equipment concerns, and work with operators to understand problems.\nKeep accurate records: Document repairs, maintenance activities, and outstanding issues, and help maintain needed spare parts.\nProtect safety and food quality: Follow lockout/tagout, electrical safety, food safety, and housekeeping procedures.\nWhat you’ll bring\nA high school diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to read, write, and understand English to follow technical instructions, complete records, and perform the job safely.\nMechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and comfort working with production equipment.\nA strong commitment to safe work, including lockout/tagout and awareness of arc-flash hazards.\nDependability, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with technicians, operators, and leaders.\nPreferred qualifications\nTwo to three years of relevant maintenance experience.\nA two-year technical or trade school degree.\nExperience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing or food production environment.\nHow we work\nWe’re looking for someone who takes ownership, helps coworkers, and looks for ways to improve equipment reliability.
