The role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on coding expertise, and the ability to design high-performance backend systems supporting complex e-commerce workflows. \nThe ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, microservices, API integrations, cloud technologies, and enterprise application architecture. The candidate will be responsible for technical decisions, architecture improvements, mentoring engineering teams, and delivering reliable production-grade solutions. \nKey Responsibilities\nDefine and design scalable backend architecture for SaaS-based integration platforms. \n\nLead technical design discussions and provide architectural direction. \n\nDevelop and review high-quality backend services using Java and Spring Boot. \n\nDesign microservices, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and integration solutions. \n\nBuild systems capable of handling high-volume transactions and complex business workflows. \n\nReview existing architecture and recommend improvements for scalability, performance, and reliability. \n\nDesign solutions for e-commerce integrations involving orders, inventory, fulfilment, tracking, and product data. \n\nTroubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis. \n\nEstablish engineering best practices for coding standards, security, testing, and deployment. \n\nMentor senior and junior developers through technical guidance and code reviews. \n\nCollaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver reliable solutions. \n\nEvaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to engineering processes.\n\nRequirements\n\nRequired Skills\n12–15 years of experience in Java backend development. \n\nStrong expertise in Java 8+ and advanced Java concepts. \n\nExtensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate. \n\nStrong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. \n\nExperience designing and developing enterprise-grade REST APIs. \n\nStrong knowledge of database design, MySQL, SQL optimization, and performance tuning. \n\nExcellent understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns. \n\nExperience with multi threading, concurrency, caching, and asynchronous processing. \n\nStrong debugging, system analysis, and production troubleshooting skills. \n\nExperience with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, and CI/CD practices. \n\nUnderstanding of application security, API security, and performance optimization. \n\nExperience working with Linux-based production environments. \n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience architecture SaaS products or e-commerce platforms. \n\nHands-on experience with marketplace and ERP integrations such as Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, NetSuite, WooCommerce, or similar platforms. \n\nExperience with AWS services including EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, and CloudWatch. \n\nExperience with Redis, Kafka/message queues, Docker, and Kubernetes. \n\nKnowledge of cloud-native architecture and scalability patterns. \n\nExperience leading engineering teams and driving technical initiatives. \n\nFamiliarity with monitoring and performance analysis
