Provides timely, regular feedback.\n\nSuccessfully interfaces with clients, vendors, inspectors, subcontractors, project management and design teams.\n\nProvides detailed coordinated breakdown of subcontractor's daily work activities and distributes to subcontractors on a weekly basis.\n\nAssists in managing changes in schedule and changes in scope.\n\nAssists self-perform groups in LDR reviews and ensures that LDRs are completed regularly and uses LDRs to project gains/losses.\n\nManages daily logs.\n\nUnderstands, comprehends, and follows subcontracts.\n\nManages documentation related to OSHA and city permitting process.\n\nEvaluates all hoisting requirements for the job, with minimal Superintendent involvement.\n\nAssists in determining vertical transportation requirements using knowledge of OSHA requirements.\n\nAssists in organization and layout project site logistics.\n\nMonitors and enforces the QA/QC program and oversees execution of the Webcor Punch List Program.\n\nEffectively measures quality and craftsmanship.\n\nAssists in ensuring required inspections are scheduled, coordinated, and performed, tracked, and closed out.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED\nWorking knowledge of Prime Contract and contract types: Includes lump sum, GMP, hard bid, negotiated, design-build, etc.\n\nWorking knowledge of cost control, budgeting, bid leveling and accurate and decisive cost reporting, billing and forecasting.\n\nAbility to lead design coordination efforts.\n\nFamiliarity of most aspects of building to include site work, structure, finishes, envelope, MEPS.\n\nIntermediate computer skills with the ability to use MS Office with proficiency. Knowledge of WinEst, OST and Bluebeam. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and other BIM software.\n\nWorking knowledge and hands on use of database information flow/costing software (CMiC a plus).\n\nFamiliarity with project management software.\n\nAdvanced ability to apply experience in order to properly process RFI's and submittals for successful completion.\n\nAbility to identify and address safety issues.\n\nBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED\nAbility to effectively lead, develop and mentor more junior staff while building and maintaining team morale.\n\nWorking level communication skills. Ability to address an audience of various sizes and effectively communicate his/her message and ideas. Ability to write clear and concise thoughts in a professional manner.\n\nWorking level knowledge of decision quality and use of sound judgement.\n\nWorking level customer focus and the ability to work cohesively with others.\n\nPossesses awareness, ability, and humility to escalate issues or conflicts with minimal Project Manager involvement.\n\nAbility to build strong business relationships and tap into personal networks as needed.\n\nStrong initiative and accountability for work deliverables.\n\nAbility to identify and address safety issues.\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.\n\nTypically, four years of construction or engineering experience includes three years as a Project Engineer or equivalent.\n\nStrong background in Tenant Improvement required.\n\nLEED AP and/or GA preferred.\n\nOSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred). If not already certified, Webcor will provide training.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nPerformance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.
