Provides timely, regular feedback. Promotes a positive team culture and environment.\nResponsible for the ongoing analysis of project buyout, savings, and contingencies; schedules buyout into the overall project schedule and ensures milestones are met.\nNegotiates, analyzes, and prepares subcontracts, purchase order agreements, and cost control budgets.\nManages all document control of RFI submittals, change orders, correspondence, permits, drawings, specs, and reports in a systematic and traceable manner.\nResponsible for all aspects of the cost report and completes timely submittal of cost reports and effectively communicates risk and projections to senior management.\nControls the budget and forecast associated with the project and negotiates best pricing.\nMaintains a delay log in conjunction with Construction Manager and inserts delays into the master. schedule, providing weekly notices to the owner.\nDevelops and implements a QA/QC program and oversees execution of the Webcor Punch List Program.\nParticipates in pursuits as required.\nRegularly reviews the project staff resource plan and provides feedback to project executives as warranted. Inputs adjustments in the workforce planning tool when needed.\nTECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED\nThorough knowledge of Prime Contract and contract types: Includes lump sum, GMP, hard bid, negotiated, design-build, etc.\nStrategic knowledge of cost control, budgeting, billing, and forecasting.\nFamiliarity of all aspects of building to include site work, structure, finishes, envelope, MEPS.\nBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED\nAdvanced ability to effectively lead, manage and mentor staff.\nAbility to clearly define goals, understand audiences, manage productive meetings, manage and build team morale.\nStrategic communication skills. Ability to address an audience of various sizes and effectively communicate his/her message and ideas Ability to write clear and concise thoughts in a professional manner.\nStrategic decision quality and use of sound judgement.\nStrategic customer focus and the ability to work cohesively with many constituents.\nDisplays and attitude of ownership and responsibility.\nSelf-starter.\nExhibits managerial courage.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.\nTypically, 10 years managing complex construction projects.\nLEED AP and/or GA preferred.\nOSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred).
