Provides timely, regular feedback. Promotes a positive team culture and environment.\n\nSubmits a comprehensive monthly schedule as the project requires.\n\nManages changes in schedule and changes in scope.\n\nEnsures that self-perform LDRs are completed regularly and uses LDRs to project gains/losses. Manages delay log in partnership with the Project Management team.\n\nManages and reviews the daily log.\n\nUnderstands, comprehends, and follows project subcontracts.\n\nDetermines vertical transportation requirements using knowledge of OSHA requirements.\n\nEvaluates all hoisting requirements for the job, sizes and places cranes accordingly.\n\nManages month to month project site logistics.\n\nMonitors and enforces the QA/QC program and oversees execution of the Webcor Punch List Program.\n\nEffectively measures quality and craftsmanship.\n\nEnsures required inspections are scheduled, coordinated, and performed, tracked, and closed out.\n\nParticipates in design document development and trade coordination activities.\n\nReviews cost reports and forecasting for general requirements, along with change order process and tracking.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED\nAdvanced knowledge and understanding of the sequencing of work and ability to develop scope in collaboration with other team members, to develop trade packages.\n\nAbility to run a significant portion of a project at the appropriate size, as assigned by management.\n\nStrong understanding and function of the MEPS systems of a building and the timing for its start-up during the TCO/commissioning process.\n\nUnderstanding of the core and shell process and/or finishes.\n\nKnowledge of dispatching and how to interact with unions.\n\nBasic understanding of pertinent local, state, and federal laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.\n\nStrong understanding of the critical path method of scheduling using systems such as P6 or equivalent.\n\nAbility to understand cost reports and forecasting for general requirements, along with change order process and tracking.\n\nAbility to calculate risk.\n\nBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED\nHighly developed leadership and management abilities; including training, employee development, motivation, and effective discipline.\n\nAble to clearly define goals, understand audiences, manage productive meetings, and manage and build team morale.\n\nAdvanced communication skills. Ability to address an audience of various sizes and effectively communicate his/her message and ideas. Ability to write clear and concise thoughts in a professional manner.\n\nAdvanced decision quality and use of sound judgement.\n\nAdvanced customer focus and the ability to work cohesively with others.\n\nSelf-driven.\n\nStrong interpersonal and relationship building abilities.\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.\n\nTypically, eight years of increasingly responsible construction experience in a trade or trades, to include at least two years as a foreman or four years as an assistant superintendent.\n\nPrior experience working on tenant improvement construction projects.\n\nOSHA 30 certification required (or any certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, such as STSC or CHST); CPR and First Aid/CPR/AED training completion required. If not already certified, Webcor will provide training.\n\nSelf-perform experience preferred.\n\nBi-lingual abilities a plus.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nPerformance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.\nThis is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continuous basis.
