We have a big vision, and we're just getting started.\nThe role\nThis is a varied role spanning management reporting, FP&A and commercial business partnering. As part of a small, remote finance team, you will own budgeting, forecasting and analysis, and work with department heads to turn financial insight into clear business decisions. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is essential.\nKey responsibilities\nMonth end and reporting\nSupport the month-end close, including general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.\nLead departmental variance analysis (actual vs forecast vs prior year), with clear commentary on trends, risks and opportunities.\nPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, and support the Senior Finance Manager with senior leadership and board packs.\nPlanning and analysis\nPrepare the annual budget and rolling forecasts with heads of department, and hold budget holders to account for performance against plan.\nPrepare the weekly cash flow forecast and monitor working capital.\nDevelop commercial pricing and financial models to support decision-making and long-term strategic planning.\nAnalyse key metrics and share insight with the relevant teams.\nBusiness partnering\nSupport SFM in preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.\nProvide regular financial updates to management, ensuring they are informed of financial performance, risks, and opportunities.\nPartner with Clinical Operations, Commercial, Engineering and other teams to understand their needs and support decision-making.\nSupport ad hoc projects across finance and the wider business.\nSystems and process improvement\nSupport the use of automation, AI and analytics tools, including Power BI dashboards, to improve reporting and insight.\nContinuous improvement of our forecasting and budgeting process.\nBuild a deep understanding of our financial processes, including month end close.\nSupport financial systems and AI projects, working with IT to implement and improve platforms.\nAbout you\nEssential\nQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3-5 years' experience in FP&A, management accounting or financial analysis.\nStrong working knowledge of FRS 102.\nAdvanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with experience of budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.\nHands-on experience with Power BI and finance systems.\nNetSuite experience, including involvement in ERP migration projects.\nA commercial, analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.\nA confident communicator who can explain complex financial information to senior and non-finance audiences.\nSelf-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.\nDesirable\nExperience in a technology, healthtech or high-growth business.\nKnowledge of IFRS.\nPersonal Attributes\nStrong
