In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and developers, translating functional requirements into clear, actionable development tasks.\nThe Webellian team supports the daily operations and continuous modernization of finance modules within the main operational system of a global insurance company. The scope includes invoicing interfaces, payment modules, integrations with other financial systems, and related system functionality.\nThe role combines strong business analysis skills with a good technical understanding of software systems, APIs, databases, and integrations.\nKey responsibilities\nGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.\nTranslate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and development tasks.\nWork closely with developers, Product Owners, QA, and business stakeholders.\nAnalyze production issues, system behavior, logs, data, and identify potential root causes and improvements.\nUse SQL to investigate issues, validate data, and support analysis.\nUnderstand and analyze REST APIs, API requests/responses, integrations, and data flows.\nSupport the design and implementation of new features and system improvements.\nParticipate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT, and other Agile activities.\nCreate and maintain functional documentation in Confluence and manage requirements/tasks in Jira.\nEnsure solutions meet business requirements while considering existing system capabilities and technical constraints.\nCompetencies4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software engineering environment.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.\nGood practical knowledge of SQL.\nUnderstanding of REST APIs, integrations, JSON, and system/data flows.\nExperience with Jira and Confluence.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including production issue investigation.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.\nExcellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.\nEnglish B2+, C1 preferred.\nCan-do attitude and willingness to learn.\nNice to have:Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI.\nExperience with financial systems, invoicing, payments, or insurance.\nExperience with production support and root-cause analysis.\nBasic knowledge of microservices or cloud-based systems.\nWhat we offerContract under Polish law: B2B or Umowa o Pracę\nBenefits such as private medical care, group insurance, Multisport card\nThere are English classes available \n Hybrid work in Warsaw (Mokotów)\nOpportunity to work with excellent professionals\nHigh standards of work and focus on the quality of code\nNew technologies in use\nContinuously learning and growth\n International team\nPinball, PlayStation & much more (on-site )\nJoin a growing team of dedicated professionals!\nWe love to pass on the knowledge to grow excellence, speak our minds without playing politics, and just enjoy hanging around together.
