It involves over 80 specialists divided into multiple teams, working together to prepare deep insights over integrated data. Tech stack includes Databricks, DBT, dltHub, PowerBI, GitHub and Terraform, everything hosted in Azure Cloud.\nAs a Data Engineer in this project you will be responsible for ensuring optimal and technically integral ETLs developed. You will have access to LLM based tools. Currently, we are also discussing data consumption through Genie Spaces, with preparation of data with use of Ontology.\nGoals and challenges\nContribute by building a training dataset for document processing and decision support\n\nDesign and implement end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption)\n\nPrepare and maintain high-quality training datasets for machine learning models\n\nWork with large-scale data on a modern cloud data platform (Databricks)\n\nApply best practices in data engineering, testing, and deployment\n\nCollaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders\n\nContinuously improve performance, reliability, and automation of data workfl\n\nHard skills we are looking for\nStrong experience with Databricks (DBX)\n\nAdvanced knowledge of Python (experience with libraries such as Pydantic is a plus; PydanticAI is a strong advantage)\n\nSolid experience in building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines\n\nVery good knowledge of SQL and relational databases\n\nExperience with PySpark\n\nFamiliarity with dbt is a plus\n\nExperience with Azure Data Services is an advantage\n\nKnowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g. GitHub)\n\nGeneral understanding of infrastructure, orchestration, and IT security principles\n\nSoft Skills & Experience\nProven experience in Data Engineering (Regular level)\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience\n\nFluent English (written and spoken)\n\nDevOps mindset (“you build it, you run it”)\n\nAbility to understand complex requirements and translate them into actionable solutions\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams\n\nAttention to detail, especially regarding data quality and business logic\n\nProactive attitude, ownership, and willingness to learn new technologies\n\nExperience in the insurance domain is a plus\n\nWhat we offer\nContract under Polish law: B2B or Umowa o Pracę\n\nBenefits such as private medical care, group insurance, Multisport card\n\nThere are English classes available\n\nHybrid work (at least 1 day/2 months on-site) in Warsaw (Mokotów)\n\nOpportunity to work with excellent professionals\n\nHigh standards of work and focus on the quality of code\n\nNew technologies in use\n\nContinuously learning and growth\n\nInternational team\n\nPinball, PlayStation & much more (on-site)\n\nJoin a growing team of dedicated professionals!\nWe love to pass on the knowledge to grow excellence, speak our minds without playing politics, and just enjoy hanging around together.
