In conjunction with Transportation and Operations, to develop effective inbound and outbound freight schedules according to policy.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nSchedule inbound and outbound appointments. \nObtain signatures from drivers as required on Inbound and outbound transactions.\nCoordinate paperwork between office, warehouse, and drivers on inbound and outbound transactions per warehouse training guide procedures.\nDaily telephoning of outside carriers to arrange for pickup of orders; telephoning of drayage companies to arrange pickup of empty containers per operations instructions.\nMaintenance of Container log and Rail log.\nVerification of completion and accuracy of all paperwork involved prior to forwarding to the office. \nAssignation of Relocation Sheets to the warehouse, of Manual Tally when no pre-receiver is available and of OS & D forms to the warehouse.\nKey pallet exchange information from Pallet Slips into the system and maintain pallet slip files and shipping information on UPS orders into the Clippership program for transmission and billing.\nPrint trucking manifest for WTW, WDW, and NWF and match to actual orders.\nRequirements\nQualification Requirements:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong mathematical knowledge required.\nReasoning Abilities:\nGood analytical skills, as well as, independent thinking/reasoning ability.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registration:\nFORKLIFT certification desired.\nOther Skills and Abilities:\nProficiency in computer skills; general knowledge of Word, Excel and database systems.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
