The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or is an essential function of the position.\nAble to operate a Class 8 Yard Tractor for moves within the yard; not on public streets or roadways\nAble to operate a stand-up reach truck, order picker and a sit down fork lift\nWork a variety of shifts in order to accommodate customer demands\nWill accurately receive and prepare various products for delivery\nCheck accuracy for freight moving in and out of warehouse\nPerform department’s housekeeping duties as assigned\nUse skills and thorough understanding of warehouse systems\nPartner with other team members to drive department excellence\nObserves all company SOP’s\nParticipates in Safety Meetings\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environment\nSafely and skillfully use MHE in a busy warehouse environment\nManage priorities in a timely and efficient manner within critical deadlines\nAccuracy in handling customers’ orders\nTeam oriented with a continuous improvement outlook\nWorking knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems such as Synapse\nStrong customer service skills\nAbility to communicate effectively\nEducation, Experiences, Certificates/Licenses and/or Registrations:\nHigh School diploma or GED \nMinimum 3 years of warehouse experience \nMinimum 1 year as a certified operator of MHE \nClass A license desired, but not required\n Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required:\nWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk and stand to perform work. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, smell, talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy and the employee may be exposed to extreme weather. The work environment is a general warehouse/distribution environment with MHE operations.
