The right person owns every piece of content that helps our Sales and customers understand, install, integrate with, and get value from Webfleet’s products - across hardware, software, and developer-facing APIs - from first draft through translation, publication, and ongoing maintenance. It is a high-scope, high-ownership role that requires equal comfort with structured authoring tools, developer documentation, project coordination, and stakeholder management. This position liases with complex stakeholders, vendors and marketing to drive the associated deliverables across the business into our product portfolio.\nHere's a little taste of your challenge:\nProduct Content:\nProduct kits, posters, and box inserts (print-ready and digital formats), including in-box and online materials localised for all markets.\n\nVersion control and update cycles tied to product releases.\n\nMaintain the Product Availability Matrix, ensuring quarterly accuracy.\n\nUser & Installation Guides:\nDigital user guides for all hardware and software products.\n\nInstallation guides formatted for knowledge base and video library.\n\nMaintenance and accuracy review on existing documentation.\n\nWebfleet Release Communications:\nQuarterly digital release calendar for customers and partners.\n\nRelease notes for hardware and software updates.\n\nHow-to and technical workflow content for end users.\n\nAPI & OEM.connect Documentation:\nCustomer-facing API reference docs, integration guides, and changelogs.\n\nOEM.connect documentation covering setup, configuration, and use cases.\n\nMaintain accuracy as endpoints, and integration specs evolve.\n\nLocalization & Translations:\nManage the on-premise translations platform day-to-day.\n\nIntake, route, and track all translation requests from internal teams on non- marketing projects.\n\nOwn vendor procurement, review cycles, and quality sign-off for product required translations.\n\nCross-Team Collaboration:\nEmbedded partner to Product and Engineering on all new releases.\n\nTranslate technical specs and changelogs into customer-ready language.\n\nCoordinate content readiness as part of the release process.\n\nContent Maintenance:\nKeep all materials current as products evolve.\n\nAudit and retire outdated content across all channels.\n\nEnsure consistency across formats, markets, and languages.\n\nWho are you:\n5+ years technical writing for hardware or software products\n\nExperience writing API and developer-facing documentation\n\nExperience managing a TMS or localization platform\n\nProven ability to own a content calendar independently\n\nStrong grasp of structured authoring (DITA, Markdown, or similar)\n\nExcellent written English,comfortable reading engineering specs, API references, and changelogs\n\nStrong Differentiators:\nExperience with OEM or partner integration documentation\n\nExperience with print-production workflows (packaging, inserts)\n\nBackground managing external translation vendors\n\nFamiliarity with knowledge base platforms (Confluence, Jira, etc.)\n\nExposure to video scripting or production coordination\n\nMultilingual proficiency is a plus, not a requirement\n\nHow success is measured:\nOn-time delivery - content ships with the product, not after.\nTranslation accuracy - zero critical errors reaching market.\nAPI doc quality - developer support tickets from doc gaps trend down.\nContent freshness - all materials current within one release cycle.\nStakeholder satisfaction - Product & Engineering rate content as release-ready.\nLet’s not forget the good stuff!\nWorking from home up to 3 days a week,\n\n500 euros gross to set up your home office and additional monthly home office allowance,\n\nChance to work abroad for 40 working days per year,\n\nBirthday off and volunteering time off,\n\nAdditional health and dental insurance,\n\n100% employer funded pension scheme,\n\nLunch, childcare or transportation vouchers,\n\nUnlimited access to LinkedIn Learning,\n\nAccess to Gofluent platform to learn new languages,\n\nFree access to CALM (top mental health app),\n\nEmployee Assistance Program,\n\nDiscount on Bridgestone tyres.\n\nWho are we?\nWebfleet is Bridgestone’s globally trusted fleet management solution.
