These are just a few words that describe you.\nYour focus will include:\nReviewing, processing and tracking monthly payment claims from construction and asset management subcontractors.\nPreparing and coordinating upstream payment claim submissions, payment schedules and supporting documentation.\nManaging variations, changes and claims, including the assessment of Change Proposals and contractual compliance requirements.\nPreparing contractual notices, maintaining ACONEX correspondence and administering commercial registers.\nSupporting project funding activities, supplier invoices, financial reconciliations and audit processes.\nBuilding strong relationships with subcontractors, Independent Reviewers and key project stakeholders.\nSupporting project reporting and ensuring compliance with contractual and financial obligations.\nWorking closely with the Commercial & Legal Lead to deliver effective commercial and financial outcomes for the project.\nWhat you will bring to the team:\nExperience in commercial finance, project finance, commercial or contracts-focused roles within construction, infrastructure or major project environments.\nStrong experience managing payment claims, subcontractor payments, invoicing, financial reporting and related commercial processes.\nDemonstrated experience administering variations, changes and claims within a contractual environment.\nSound understanding of contracts, contractual documentation and their financial implications.\nStrong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills, supported by exceptional attention to detail.\nExcellent written communication skills, including the preparation of formal contractual correspondence, notices, payment schedules and supporting documentation.\nStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.\nExperience supporting financial reporting, reconciliations and audits.\nExperience using ACONEX or similar document management systems will be highly regarded.\nTertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.\nPrevious experience within major infrastructure or complex project environments will be highly regarded.\nWebuild’s people enjoy:\nA competitive remuneration package\nIndustry leading paid parental leave program from the day you join\nFlexible and remote work options to manage work and lifestyle commitments\nOngoing learning and development opportunities\nNumerous mental health and well-being programs\nSpecial offers on private health insurance, salary packaging, banking, retail and more\nExposure to a range of iconic projects and industries\nWe’re building a diverse workforce\nWe are committed to building a workforce that reflects the communities in which we work and live, fostering an inclusive environment that accepts every person, embraces their strengths and differences, and provides opportunities for all to achieve their full potential.\nWe are proud to be an employer that values diversity, equity and inclusion.
