Site engineers will make sure that everything works smoothly, and engineering designs are being followed. Inspect infrastructure and conduct research on site in order to solve problems.\n\nQualifications:\nRelevant Tertiary Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering\nWhite Card\nExperience:\nMinimum 3 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role - preferred\nExpereince working on TBMs\nExperience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works\nExperience in technical aspects of site projects, including machinery and equipment\nExperience in civil and structural technical engineering\nExperience in interpreting technical schedules and documentation\nExperience in Contract comprehension\n\nRequired Competencies: \nProcess oriented, able to analyse complex issues\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills across different levels\nSound interpersonal skills\nAbility to work collaboratively\nAbility to work to deadlines and targets and prioritise tasks under pressure\nStrong Initiative and proactive nature\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nWell-developed time management skills\nHigh attention to detail\nCompetent and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word.\nAbility to learn and use different software systems such as E7\n\nCore Accountabilities and Responsibilities:\nConducting research on site\nInspecting equipment and technologies\nCommunicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues\nConduct research and studies on site\nManage field activities and implement engineering designs\nDiagnose construction or machinery problems\nResolve malfunctions or other crises when they arise\nOversee repairs and technical improvements\nInstall new systems and technology\nInspect and test material and machinery for safety\nEnsure proper maintenance of onsite equipment\nSupervise and direct onsite crew (e.g. technicians)\nDraft and submit reports\nThe above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.\n\nAs an employee you will be eligible to participate in a number of additional employee benefits.
