This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.\n\nPurpose of the Role\nThe Lead Document Controller is responsible for leading the assigned section of the Project’s Document Control Team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high standard of performance and accuracy.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, such as engineering, architecture, communications, technical writing, or actively pursuing completion of the degree - preferred\nWhite Card\nExperience\n5 to 10 years’ experience in document control, procurement or administration\nExperience working on large scale construction and engineering projects or other suitable projects works - preferred\n\nRequired Competencies\nProcess oriented with exceptional knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills across different levels\nSound interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively\nAbility to work to deadlines and targets whilst also being able to prioritise tasks\nExceptional attention to detail and the ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports\nProficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook\n\nCore Accountabilities and Responsibilities\nAssist the Information Handover Manager in the supervision of the FGJV Document Control Team.\nTake responsibility for the document control function for all in-bound and out-bound formal project-controlled documents.\nPrepare reports on Department activity according to customer requirements.\nPrepare monthly reports to internal management.\nWorking closely with Department Head to prepare Department forecasts.\nReview and update relevant Procedures and Work Instructions.\nDistribute project-related copies to internal teams.\nCreate templates for future use.\nRetrieve files as requested by employees and clients.\nManage the flow of documentations within the organisation.\nMaintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.\nPrepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.\nProcess, distribute and maintain controlled documentation using the owner’s document control system.\nParticipate in meetings, redact and submit relevant meeting minutes.\nThe above listed authorities and responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.\n\nAs an employee you will be eligible to participate in a number of additional employee benefits.
