This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.\n\nPurpose of the Role\nThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities within their allocated work scope.\nSuccessful performance in this role is critical to the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of the works according to the EPC contract, employer requirements, Project specifications, environmental regulations and stakeholder expectations.\nThis will be achieved through leading a team of engineers and construction personnel to ensure the construction teams have the necessary information and support to achieve our common goals.\n\nCore Responsibilities\nLead and oversee all construction activities within the assigned work scope, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and timeline standards.\nCollaborate with Construction Directors, engineers, designers, suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate complex construction schedules, resources, and activities related to the work scope.\nEnsure that construction activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.\nProvide dedicated leadership and guidance to construction teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence in delivery.\nImplement and oversee quality control processes, ensuring construction meets the specific requirements of the EPC contract, employer requirements, Project specifications, relevant standards, approved methodologies and IFC designs.\nFacilitate effective, timely communication between project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.\nProactively identify, address, and resolve construction-related conflicts or issues that may arise during Project execution.\nAssist in monitoring construction budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effectiveness and waste reduction.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with temporary and permanent construction activities, while identifying opportunities for improvement.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency in construction operations\nPrepare and deliver accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on construction activities tailored to the target audience.\nLead the development and delivery of weekly, six-week look-ahead, and three-month look-ahead plans, with clearly defined milestones and measurable targets.\nThe above listed authorities and responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.\n\nCore Accountabilities\nSafe delivery of all construction works within the assigned scope, with zero tolerance for serious safety incidents. \nDelivery of construction works in accordance with contract requirements, approved programmes, and agreed milestones. \nEffective leadership and performance of construction teams, including engineers, supervisors, and superintendents, ensuring capability, accountability, and engagement. \nCompliance with all statutory, contractual, quality, environmental, and industrial relations obligations applicable to the work scope. \nManagement of construction risks and opportunities, including temporary and permanent works interfaces, to protect project outcomes. \nAccurate forecasting, reporting, and control of construction costs, productivity, and resources. \nMaintenance of effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.\n\nAs an employee you will be eligible to participate in a number of additional employee benefits.
